Ajelix launches Agent Skills, one of the most popular features in the market right now. Every Ajelix user can extend their AI agent with specialized skills: pre-built capabilities from a growing library, skills found online, or fully custom ones built for your team’s exact needs.

What Are Agent Skills?

Agent Skills are a lightweight, open standard for giving AI agents specialized knowledge and workflows. At their core, a skill is simply a folder containing a SKILL.md file with a name, description, and instructions the agent follows whenever a relevant task comes up.

The format was originally developed by Anthropic, released as an open standard, and is now supported across a growing ecosystem of AI tools and agents, including Ajelix.

How to Enable Skills

It takes just a few seconds:

1. Open Ajelix and click the Skills tab
2. Browse the library and select any skills you want to activate
3. To add a skill from the web, paste a GitHub link directly, it will be imported automatically
4. To create a custom skill, click “Create with AI” and describe what you need in plain language

That’s it. Your agent will start using the skill immediately.
