The add-on brings Ajelix’s agentic AI capabilities natively into Google Sheets™, Google Docs™, Google Slide™s, and Google Forms™ – delivering a sidebar experience that acts autonomously inside tools professionals already use every day.

Unlike conventional AI tools that generate suggestions or instructions for users to follow, AI Agent for Work plans, executes, and delivers finished results. Users open the side panel, type what they need, and the agent handles the work – writing and running Apps Scripts, building dashboards, designing presentation decks, drafting full documents, and generating complete forms without leaving Google Workspace.

The add-on extends Ajelix’s full agentic functionality across the Google Workspace suite:

• Google Sheets: Build financial reports and P&L statements, create interactive charts and KPI dashboards, automate tasks with Apps Script, research live web data and inject it directly into the spreadsheet, and export polished reports to PDF.

“I was automating and building custom spreadsheets for customers all around the world. In late 2019, I started noticing that people use Google Sheets the same way they use Excel. I spent some time learning how Google Sheets work on a technical level to be able to build custom solutions for existing customers. When we started Ajelix in 2022, it was obvious that a Google Workspace™ add-on would be launched eventually. Now it’s here. The new Agentic version is capable of doing things that were not possible just 5 years ago.”

Availability and Pricing

AI Agent for Work is available immediately through the Google Workspace Marketplace. The add-on is built on the existing Ajelix subscription, requiring an Ajelix account and API key for setup, making onboarding straightforward for both individuals and teams.
